Come to a 3 hours interactive childbirth education class to learn all about childbirth, advocacy, laboring positions, and more! We want to help you feel prepared and excited for childbirth. This class is taught by a birth & postpartum doula.
The classes are either taught by Alexandra Harper-Brees or Elizabeth Beeker
All Classes will be on Saturdays from 9am-12pm

Other Childbirth Education Classes
Come to a The Evidence Based Birth® Childbirth Class that is all online and is taught over 4 or 6 weeks with a combination of online videos, resources and weekly live classes. Payment method: cash/card, FSA/HSA Card. 2 Scholarship spots per cohort to ensure it’s accessible. It can also be covered by Michigan Medicaid.

This free attendance prioritizes families navigating financial barriers or a part of a historically marginalized group (covered by the grant that Better Birth Jackson got)

This rate helps cover the basic cost of the class - help pay for the instructor’s fee and materials

This rate helps cover the basic cost of the class - help for the instructor fee and materials. Any excess funds is used to pay the instructor a more sustainable wage and allow Better Birth Jackson to offer more classes in the future.

Breastfeeding Education Classes

Come to an interactive 2.5 hours class to learn about postpartum physical recovery, newborn care, mental health, relationship dynamics and basic feeding techniques. As well as tips to prepare for postpartum before your baby comes.

Kristen Schell can offer one-on-one online Evidence Based Birth Classes. It can be covered by cash/card, MI Medicaid, FSA/HSA.
