Placental Encapsulation

There is some evidence that placenta consumption may provide various health benefits after childbirth including increasing your milk supply, balancing hormone levels, and replenishing depleted nutrients. To read more about the evidence for placenta preparation, visit Placentabenefits.info.

Your placenta can be processed for consumption in one of two ways:

Encapsulated – The placenta is dried, powdered, and put into pills which you swallow during the postpartum period to help stabilize moods and give your body a nutrition boost.

Tincture – Your encapsulator takes a small piece of the placenta and distills it in a 4oz jar of vodka to release any properties. This normally takes 6 weeks and will be dropped off once it’s finished.

You can also commemorate this amazing organ and connection with your baby with a placenta print.

Prints – Printed on water color paper with black paint. The placenta print makes for a beautiful keepsake to remember where your baby grew. The placenta is referred to as the tree of life, which you can normally see clearly with the prints!
