Hanna Russo
As a mother to 4 wonderful boys, Hanna knows the importance of being supported before, during, and after the birth of a child. The information you will get from her is evidenced-based. She also offer alternative to normal and modern “just the way things are done”.
She believes in mothers’ abilities to give birth and is a strong proponent for physiological birth.
How you are treated during your labor and the choices you make will affect your journey into motherhood. As a professional birth coach, Hanna will work by your side and your partners’ as you prepare to give birth; present in each moment with a spirit of love and compassion.
10 years ago Hanna took a DONA birth doula training, and started right away doing birth work. Since then, she has been to over 150 births. She is also looking forward to training with spinning babies this fall, as well as becoming a certified birth photographer through Birth Becomes You.
Hanna is currently working on being able to accept military families who have tri-care as their insurance and also takes flexible spending and HSA accounts as payment. She is also navigating the process for Medicaid families to take their insurance as well!
When not doing birth work Hanna enjoys hanging out with her 4 sons and husband of 15 years enjoying hiking, soccer, more soccer, and hoping to spend time relaxing at home in Jackson, Michigan. Currently accepting clients for doula work and birth photography! Serving up to about an hour radius from Jackson, Michigan and Ann Arbor, Michigan. Also running bi-monthly child birth education classes.
