Nivean Farha

Nivean Farha is a devoted mother of four children and a certified birth doula, specializing in serving Medicaid clients. Fluent in both Arabic and English, Nivean leverages her language skills to provide compassionate care to families during the transformative experience of childbirth. In addition to her work as a doula and community health worker at the local health department, Nivean plays a crucial role in breaking down barriers and bridging gaps within her community. She collaborates with the local intermediate school district in Washtenaw County to address systemic challenges and promote inclusivity. Through her efforts, Nivean strives to create a more supportive and equitable environment for all members of the community, especially those from underrepresented backgrounds. Outside of her professional roles, Nivean is deeply involved in advocacy efforts for the Arabic and Muslim communities. Recognizing the unique challenges faced by these populations, she works tirelessly to promote understanding and foster unity.
